the carousel

I contemplated how to kick this blog off. So much to fill you in on. But that will come. We meet people all the time and plop right into their lives and before you know it, you know everything about them. So that is how I'll kick this off.

Yesterday the Staples order came in. I had ordered another attempt to get organized: the APPRENTICE ULTIMATE DESK ORGANIZER. It spins. Like a carousel. I'm thinking of attaching colorful horses, lions, elephants and ostriches to it. It is full of files, awesome Sharpie pens, post it notes and other officey things. This way in my flury of a life I can quickly spin the carousel around and grab the needed item. NO time wasted. It is fun. My life is not a flury- the carousel is just really cool.

It inspired me to organize my whole desk and it is BANG A RANG! I could be a Staples add. It kicks.

On the way to work today I decided to take a less congested route. Well the route was definately less congested. Probably because I went in the complete opposite direction I was supposed to go. It took me an hour to drive what should have taken 20 minutes. I HATE getting lost. Nevertheless, I found my way back to work trying to counsel myself through my pissiness the whole time. When I walked in the door I told a coworker. He was laughing so hard he was crying- I wasn't even trying to be funny. In fact I was looking for sympathy. Yet laughter is contagious. He loved my suffering. I quickly realized me getting lost was quite a microscopic catastrophe.

It's friday. I don't have much to do today, but I do have these lurking WALL STREET PREP courses to tackle. I have totally neglected them. That is my goal today- make a substantial dent in those. I'm thinking headphones and good music will help.
